The Breton Elementary School houses grades K to 6 and utilizes various strategies and programs to best meet the needs of the individual students. Breton High School includes grades 7 to 12. It is a streamlined high tech institution offering a full academic program and 16 out of 22 strands in Career and Technology Studies. It also offers an I.O.P. program supplemented with remedial education on a student need basis. Breton High School has an extensive computer department and was the first school to be on the internet by satellite. The cosmetology department is also well designed, offering students detailed, professional training and cosmetologist services to the public. Distance education is a feature at the school which allows flexibility and choice to students and adults. The community is encouraged to use the school's weight training facility and cross country skiis.
